About Me
Much of my work begins when someone is dealing with a situation in their life or business that they cannot see clearly from the inside.
Over more than thirty years, I have worked closely with individuals navigating personal relationships and with organisations dealing with leadership and people dynamics. Although these may appear very different, the underlying issues are often the same. They come down to judgement, behaviour and the way people interact.
My background combines psychology, business ownership and international leadership. I studied psychology at Birkbeck, University of London, and also completed further studies in criminal law and hotel management.
I spent over twenty years leading an international relationship business, with responsibility for strategy, performance, operations and decision making across multiple markets. Alongside this, I have founded and run businesses across hospitality, technology and luxury services, including the acquisition and management of a hotel in the South of France and the development of a national technology company in Ireland.

My Unique Approach
These experiences have shaped how I approach problems. I have worked across different industries, countries and cultures, and have dealt directly with growth, pressure, conflict and change. This allows me to assess situations in a practical and grounded way, rather than through theory alone.
What interests me most is how people behave under pressure, how decisions are made, and how patterns repeat themselves both in relationships and in business. In many cases, what appears to be the problem is not the real issue. Understanding what is actually happening beneath the surface is often what changes the outcome.
Alongside my advisory work, I contribute regularly to media and public discussion on relationships, human behaviour and leadership, including television, radio and international press. I am based in Ireland and work internationally.
